About the Master of Agribusiness

The Melbourne School of Land & Environment offers two postgraduate coursework agribusiness courses, which are run almost entirely online.
The Master of Agribusiness is a 150 point Masters course, designed to be completed part time over three years, or full time over 1.5 years. The course comprises 11 subjects. Nine subjects are delivered online and two subjects are delivered at one-week intensive residentials held at the beginning of the first two years. The subjects you'll study are: Leadership; Managing Markets; Agribusiness Management Economics; Financial Management for Agribusiness; Business Strategy; Human Resource Management; Project Management; Operations & Decision Making; Agribusiness Project; Information Management and Managing Risk.

The Graduate Certificate in Agribusiness - a 50 point Graduate Certificate comprising the first four subjects from the Master of Agribusiness.

The program offers a full time (1.5 years) on-campus stream of the Master of Agribusiness (Coursework) whereby both local and international students can combine primarily residential and traditional on-campus study at the Parkville Campus, with minimal online study. Who should study?
The Master of Agribusiness (Coursework) was developed specifically for the agribusiness professional. The course will broaden students' understanding of the industry in which they operate and enhance analytical skills required in the day-to-day work environment. To maximise rewards from undertaking the course, students should have two to five years experience in the agribusiness field. Students do not need an academic background in business or economics, however some understanding of the complex systems involved in agribusiness is assumed
